Dr. David Feaker grew up participating in athletics in his native east Tennessee community. Seeing the physician’s role in keeping athletes on the field was the initial appeal to become an orthopedic surgeon. Whether mending bones or replacing a worn joint, he truly enjoys the opportunity to treat and return patients to a pain-free and functional lifestyle. He offers expertise in minimally-invasive techniques and cares for a wide variety of orthopedic issues.
Dr. Feaker had the privilege of treating some of our nation’s most physically-capable military service members before joining Fort Wayne Orthopedics. His training and practice allowed him to treat a full spectrum of military athletes from new recruits to US Navy Seals to proud retirees. He feels that mutual respect and shared decision-making are the most effective means to achieve the desired outcome for patients. When Dr. Feaker is not taking care of patients you can find him spending time with his family, exercising, traveling, on the golf course, playing guitar or taking on a woodworking project.
