Dr. Fisher, originally from Marion, Indiana, joined FWO in 1992. A board certified orthopedic surgeon, he chose orthopedics because he finds it to be fun, challenging and rewarding when he sees patients do well following treatment.
A specialist in joint replacement and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Fisher also has extensive experience in the use of minimally invasive techniques, including partial joint replacement and cartilage restoration. He says the best part about his position is seeing his patients do well and helping others through challenging times.
In addition to his work at FWO, Dr. Fisher is a clinical assistant professor at Indiana University School of Medicine. When not working, he enjoys golfing and fishing, along with community arts and reading non-fiction.
